Went up to my roof to test out a new lens I'm borrowed from a friend and see if I could photograph any of the pigeons that typically hang out up there. Found a few but unfortunately the lens isn't quite as quick with focus tracking as one would otherwise hope for.
While sitting at a restaurant here in Vienna, there was a branch hanging near my head with a group of ants taking care of a collection of aphids. For those that don't know, ants feed on the honeydew that aphids secrete and even often protect them from predators.

My past project for creating flower images to hang in my apartment continued this evening. This will likely be converted to black and white if I hang it but I like the colors so much more.
Processed using VSCO Ektar 100 preset plus other changes. I've never used presets before but it certainly gives the image an interesting aesthetic and also provides a jumping off point for other adjustments.
